This Privacy Policy explains how the Odpočet času application handles user data. The application is designed with privacy in mind, and most data is processed and stored only locally on the user's device.

2. Data Stored on Your Device
The application stores information necessary for its functionality locally on the user's device.
This may include:
- countdown names,
- event dates and times,
- categories,
- notes,
- application settings,
- notification settings,
- recurrence settings,
- and other information entered by the user when creating or editing countdowns.
Images selected by the user are resized and compressed and then stored as separate files in the application's private internal storage.
This locally stored data is not automatically transmitted to the developer of the application.
3. Permissions and Notifications
The application may request certain Android system permissions in order to provide its features.
These may include permission to:
- display notifications,
- use the Android Alarms & reminders system access for more precise notification timing,
- and select an image from the user's device.
These permissions are used only for features that the user chooses to use.
Notifications related to countdowns are scheduled locally on the user's device.
If permission for exact alarms is not granted, the application may use Android's less precise, battery-efficient scheduling instead.
4. Online Countdown Library
The application includes an optional online countdown library.
When the user opens the online library, the application downloads a file containing prepared countdown events from the bender.sk server.
As part of normal server operation, standard technical logs may process information such as:
- IP address,
- date and time of the request,
- device or browser type,
- and the requested URL.
This technical information may be processed automatically by the server as part of normal web hosting and server operation.
The user's locally created countdowns, notes, categories, selected images and other locally stored application data are not uploaded to the online countdown library.
5. Contact by Email
When the user taps the contact option within the application, the user's email application is opened.
The application itself does not send the email automatically.
If the user chooses to send an email, the email address and message content are processed through the email services used by the sender and recipient.

6. Advertising, Analytics and Sale of Personal Data
The current version of the Odpočet času application:
- does not use advertising SDKs,
- does not display third-party advertising,
- does not use third-party analytics services,
- and does not sell users' personal data.
7. Data Sharing
The application does not automatically send locally stored countdown data to the developer.
Locally created countdowns, dates, times, categories, notes, settings and selected images remain on the user's device unless the user takes an action outside the normal operation of the application that causes such information to be shared.
Standard technical information generated when accessing the online library may be processed by the server infrastructure as described in the Online Countdown Library section of this Privacy Policy.
8. Data Deletion
Users can delete individual countdowns and categories directly within the application.
When a countdown is deleted, its locally stored image is also deleted.
All locally stored application data can also be removed by:
- clearing the application's data in the Android device settings, or
- uninstalling the application.
Because the application does not maintain user accounts or automatically upload locally created countdown data to the developer, there is normally no corresponding online user account or cloud-stored countdown database that needs to be deleted separately.
9. Data Security
The application stores its main user-created data locally on the user's device and uses the application's private internal storage for files such as processed user-selected images.
The security of locally stored data also depends on the security features of the user's Android device and operating system.
Internet communication required for accessing the online countdown library is limited to the functionality necessary to retrieve the online content.
10. Children's Privacy
The application is not designed to intentionally collect personal information from children.
The application does not require users to create an account and does not intentionally collect personal information for advertising or profiling purposes.
11. Third-Party Services and Open Source Components
The application uses Flutter, Dart and other software packages required for its functionality.
These components may be distributed under open source licences such as BSD, MIT or Apache 2.0.
The use of open source software does not mean that the entire Odpočet času application is open source.
Information regarding open source components and licences is also available within the application.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated in the future if the application's features, technical implementation or data handling practices change.
When the Privacy Policy is updated, the Last updated date at the top of this page will be changed accordingly.
Users are encouraged to review this page periodically for any changes.
